“I booked a ceramic painting workshop for my friend’s hen do. It was great - Katie did a fantastic job of delivering the session on the day (despite some extra challenges thrown in by unpredictable weather!) and we all loved taking part. It’s lovely having our creations to take home as mementos from the day too. It was so easy to book the session, and staff at The Crafty Hen were always so happy to help whenever I got in touch with queries/booking updates etc. Would highly recommend!”

“Everybody there had a fantastic time, Karen and Katie were so helpful, brilliant at explaining everything and settling the nerves of the non crafters in the group. “The whole booking process was straightforward and flexible, and the Crafty Hen team were incredibly responsive to all of my questions.
The workshop itself was fun, relaxed and engaging! Our Crafty Hen host Sarah arrived on time and was happy for us to host the workshop outside. Sarah clearly explained and demonstrated to the group what we would be doing, the tools available and different techniques we could try. She provided helpful tips as to where to begin and was attentive throughout; both in terms of giving support and also making sure we had clean equipment available at all times. All of the 14 guests loved the session and couldn’t believe how quickly the three hours went!

“The team at crafty hen have been absolutely amazing. I booked the flower crown making workshop back in January 2020 then the pandemic hit and we had to postpone several times. Each time there was a government update the team were so proactive with what that meant for our booking, I never chased them once. Once we finally got round to the event, 18 months later it was absolutely fantastic. Stacey our host was so knowledgeable and gave us all great hints and tips to ensure our crowns / headbands / combs were a success. The girls had a great time with lots of laughs and some serious concentration at times! I would highly recommend using The Crafty Hen. I look forward to working with them again in the future.”

“Just wanted to say thank you so much to all the wonderful humans at Crafty Hen! The whole process was super well organised and you coped very well with my many many questions and toing and froing. We all had a fabulous time doing the patchwork cushion workshop and our workshop leader was great fun, helpful and really easy going. It was really well catered as we had a very mixed ability group (the bride is making her own wedding dress and others couldn’t even sew on a button) and everyone really got stuck in.
The bride was really happy with the surprise and we each came out with a really beautiful square that I will now sew into a cushion ready to give her at the wedding as a gift from all the hens - such a brilliant way for her to remember our weekend together! I really hope I get to do one of your other workshops soon.”
